Steve van Cott

Steve Van Cott has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steve started their career as an Assistant Department Head and Division Officer on the USS Columbia submarine, where they demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and performed critical operations. After their naval service, Steve worked as an Assistant Project Manager in the Defense Liaison Division, overseeing supply chain management and government acquisition processes.

In 2007, they joined Logos Technologies LLC as a Flight Test and Aircraft Integration Manager, responsible for planning and managing the company's flight testing program. Steve also facilitated sensor systems integration on both unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and manned aircraft.

Steve then moved to Eastman in 2013, where they held various roles, including Project Manager, Manufacturing Optimization Manager, Operations Manager, Transformation Leader, and Pricing and Demand Manager. Steve'sresponsibilities ranged from driving cost savings projects and coordinating corporate optimization initiatives to overseeing daily operations, leading strategic sourcing processes, and executing product and pricing strategies.

Currently, Steve is working at Fluence, where they hold the positions of Director of Requisition Engineering, Director of Program Management, and Program Manager. Steve'sroles involve leading teams, managing programs, and ensuring the smooth execution of engineering and requisition processes.

Steve Van Cott holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Steve then pursued a Master of Engineering Management at Old Dominion University, although the duration is not specified. Finally, Steve Van Cott completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business between 2012 and 2014.
