Richard White

Richard White, PhD, serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Flushing Bank, where oversight of enterprise security initiatives and coordination across various departments is a key responsibility. Additionally, Richard holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maryland University College, specializing in cybersecurity courses. Previous experience includes managing technical and engineering development teams at Oxford Solutions, LLC as Managing Director, and providing technology and security leadership as Chief Information Security Officer for the US Capitol Police. Richard has also held roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and Noblis, focusing on cyber intrusion prevention, data loss prevention technologies, and information security evaluation. An alumnus of Capella University with a PhD in Information Assurance, Richard also possesses master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Maryland Global Campus in Computer Systems Networking and Computer Technology, respectively.
