Piyush Prakash

Piyush Prakash has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2018. Piyush began their career as an Extern at Ionis Pharmaceuticals in 2011. In 2012, Prakash joined CAL AIAA Rover Team as the Lead Mechanical Engineer, and simultaneously took on the role of Electrical System Lead at UC Berkeley FSAE. Piyush continued their work at UC Berkeley FSAE, transitioning to the position of Aerodynamics System Lead from 2014 to 2016. Prakash also served as a Lab Assistant at the Mechanical Systems Controls Lab from June to August 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Automotive-Safety Biomechanics Lab. From 2016 to 2018, Prakash was a Research Assistant at the Microscale Flow Modeling Lab. Most recently, they are employed as a Design and Development Engineer at Fluxergy since May 2018.

Piyush Prakash holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 2012 to 2016. Piyush's secondary education was completed at Carlsbad High School, where they received their High School Diploma from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Piyush obtained a certification in the Micro-MBA Program from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management in August 2017.
