Santiago Urrizola has a varied and extensive work experience. Santiago started their career as a Developer at Sistemas Bejerman S.A. in 1998 and worked there until 2002. Santiago then worked as a Senior Developer at Banco de Chile in 2003 and as a Software Architect at Almacenes Paris in 2004. From 2006 to 2007, Santiago worked as a Lead Solution Architect at LIFIA in Villmond Luxembourg. In 2008, they joined Flux IT as a Director and later became the Business Director. In 2011, they co-founded Bitgenia, a bioinformatics company, where they served as Director and Co-Founder. Santiago also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Facultad de Informática, Universidad Nacional de La Plata starting from 2017. Additionally, they have held various roles at Polo IT La Plata, including Vice President from 2015 to 2022 and President from 2022 onwards. Santiago Urrizola is also a member of the Board of Directors at CESSI - Cámara de Empresas de Software y Servicios Informáticos de Argentina since 2012. Santiago Urrizola completed their education at Universidad Nacional de La Plata from 1998 to 2008, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering. Santiago also pursued studies in Computer Software Technology/Technician at the same university from 1998 to 2006.
