Mehdi K.

Mehdi K. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mehdi started their career at Tehran, Iran, where they worked at the Iran Telecommunication Research Center, simulating various communication circuits using VHDL. Following that, they joined Kanoon Informatic (ICT) as a CTO and Network Engineer, where they designed and implemented an ISP network infrastructure and administered internet services.

Mehdi then worked as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo, where they developed a prototype in image processing and optimized image processing algorithms. Subsequently, Mehdi worked as a Network Administrator at Ryerson University and as a Senior Network Engineer at The Ryerson Centre for Cloud and Context-Aware Computing (RC4).

Later, they transitioned into cloud systems engineering roles at Unitt NV and Sentia before joining Flybits as a Team Lead for Cloud and DevOps Engineering. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering - Core Platform at Flybits. Additionally, they also worked as a Solutions Architect at Cloutive Technology Solutions.

Throughout their career, Mehdi has demonstrated expertise in network engineering, cloud systems engineering, and software development.

Mehdi K. holds a Master's degree in Computer Networks from Ryerson University, which was obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Computer Architecture from Sharif University of Technology between 1999 and 2002. Mehdi K. also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, specifically in Hardware, from the University of Tehran, earned from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications related to AWS and big data, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, among others.
