Matthew Guiney, CPA

Matthew Guiney, CPA has extensive work experience in the finance and venture capital industry. Matthew served as the Chief Financial Officer at Flybridge Capital Partners, a seed-stage venture capital firm, from July 2018 to the present. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Finance at Flybridge for nine years. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, they worked as a Senior Associate specializing in venture capital and private equity auditing from January 2003 to November 2009. During their time at PricewaterhouseCoopers, they led audit teams, managed client relationships, and developed courses on various accounting and tax issues. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Babson Capital Management from June 2000 to December 2002.

Matthew Guiney, CPA, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Accounting from Northeastern University from 1999 to 2004. In March 2009, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
