Flint Walters, B.Comm., PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Flint spent the majority of their career at FLYHT, where they held various roles, including Program Manager, Quality Systems Manager, and currently, they are serving as the Director of Quality and Compliance. Before joining FLYHT, Flint was a Project Manager at General Dynamics Canada for nine years. Flint also served as a Chief Warrant Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces for over two decades. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche and as a Master Scheduler / New Products Planner at Nortel. Flint began their career at Haworth, where they held various positions. With their extensive experience in project management, quality systems, and operations, Flint Walters brings a well-rounded skill set to their current role at FLYHT.
Flint Walters holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Operations Management from the University of Calgary, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Prior to attending university, Flint completed their high school education at Western Canada High School. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which they acquired in March 2011. Flint also holds the AS9100D Lead Auditor certification from SAI Global, obtained in April 2019. Furthermore, they earned the Production and Inventory Manager (CPIM) certification from APICS - The Association for Operations Management in March 1999.
