Omar Hussain

Omar Hussain is a software developer at FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. since January 2021, and a technical consultant at IIT since September 2014, with significant experience in website maintenance and development. Previous roles include software engineer at Hubudub, where Omar focused on full stack development using Angular and Firebase, and participation in a full-stack development bootcamp at EvolveU, emphasizing critical thinking and adaptability to business processes. Additionally, Omar served as treasurer for Varsity Villa Condominium Corporation, managing financial analyses and budgets, and held an administrative role at IIT from 2005 to 2014, overseeing daily operations of a non-profit organization. Omar's early career included working as an energy management engineer at EPCOR. Educationally, Omar holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta.
