Thomas Schünemann

Thomas Schmelzle is an experienced industrial designer currently working at SDI Technologies, Inc. since August 2022. Previously, Thomas served as a production designer at Nephros, where responsibilities included production design for medical and commercial filtration materials and 3D product modeling. Experience as a graphic and web designer at Matrix Mirrors involved UI/UX design and rebranding efforts. Thomas also worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology, first as a multimedia studio assistant managing large format printing services and then as a launchpad lead student coordinator for design expos. Additionally, Thomas contributed as a CAD modeling consultant for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, providing guidance on software for prosthetic device design. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology.
