Alex Maggi

Alex Maggi, CFA, CPA, CGMA, CTP has extensive work experience in finance and accounting in various industries. Currently, Alex is the Chief Financial Officer at Flyp. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at FutureRx and AK Private Capital, LLLP, where they oversaw different aspects of finance, accounting, and HR. Alex also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at MEMBERS Trust Company and North American Roofing, where they implemented financial strategies and managed banking relationships. Earlier in their career, Alex worked at Citi as Vice President and at Fifth Third Bank as Vice President, Finance Manager. Alex also served at Citigroup, Inc. as Vice President, Finance Manager, and at Dolphin Capital Management Inc. as President and CFO. Alex began their career at Arthur Andersen as a Senior Associate, where they gained audit experience in various industries. Overall, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in finance and accounting to their role as Chief Financial Officer.

Alex Maggi, CFA, CPA, CGMA, CTP pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business from 1990 to 1995. Recently, in 2020, Alex completed an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business. In 2020, Alex also obtained three certifications from the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA): Mergers & Acquisitions Professional (M&AP), International Mergers & Acquisitions Expert (IM&A), and Certified Post Merger Integration Specialist (CPMI). Additionally, Alex holds various professional certifications, including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) obtained in 2012, Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) obtained in 2012, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) obtained in 1995, and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) obtained in 2020. Alex also achieved the 15-Year Professional Learning Milestone certification from the CFA Institute, which will be obtained in 2023.
