Flávio M. Zaccarias

Flávio M. Zaccarias has a diverse work experience in fields such as data science, computer vision research, content development, and risk analysis. Their most recent role is as a Data Scientist at FLYR Labs, starting in May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Computer Vision Researcher at sagsport.com from May 2021 to March 2022. From May 2020 to October 2021, Flávio was a Content Developer at Mathleaks AB. Flávio also has experience in the banking industry, having worked at Oney Bank - BPCE Group. In their role as a Data Analyst for Credit Risk from September 2018 to December 2019, they developed and improved models for classification of credit risk, including the implementation of the IFRS9 Provision Model. Flávio also developed the IFRS9 Forward-Looking model and prepared reports with key performance indicators. Flávio's first role in the banking sector was as a Risk Analysis Intern from November 2017 to August 2018, where they conducted data analysis and provided information to support meetings and audits using SAS/SQL.

Flávio M. Zaccarias obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence from Warsaw University of Technology from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, Flávio completed an International Exchange program in Applied Mathematics at Universidade do Porto. Flávio also holds several additional certifications, including Practical Time Series Analysis and Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera, as well as an IT Technical Course from Centro Paula Souza.
