Daniel Tan

Daniel Tan has a strong background in the banking industry, with over 15 years of experience. Daniel currently holds the role of VP Commercial Lender at F&M Bank, where they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at First National Bank of Middle Tennessee as a Commercial Banker from October 2020 to June 2022. Before that, Daniel was a Commercial Banker at Simmons Bank from April 2018 to October 2020. Daniel also worked at Synovus Bank as a Credit Analyst III from February 2016 to March 2018. In addition, Daniel has experience outside of traditional banking, having worked at CAT Financial Products AG as a Transaction Coordinator II from February 2015 to February 2016. Daniel began their career at Cargill, Inc. - Energy Business as a Credit Analyst, where they worked from November 2006 to May 2012. Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated strong leadership, decision-making, and documentation skills.

Daniel Tan earned an Associate's degree in Accounting from Western Iowa Tech Community College from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from the University of Iowa from 2003 to 2006.
