Mahamadou Soumare

Mahamadou Soumare holds a robust background in telecommunications sales and management, with a specialization in mobile and fixed satellite communications technologies. Currently serving as Regional Manager for Africa at Thuraya Telecommunications Company since June 2022, Mahamadou previously held the position of Senior Sales Manager EMEA for Enterprise & Emerging Markets at Speedcast from January 2018 to June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Sales Director at IEC Telecom Group from 2011 to January 2018, where responsibilities encompassed project management and the promotion of value-added services. Mahamadou began the telecommunications journey as Sales Manager at E-SAT from August 2004 to June 2011. Academic qualifications include a Licence in Applied Foreign Languages, with a focus on business and commerce, from Université Paris 8, completed between 2001 and 2004.
