Cornelis van Aerssen

Cornelis van Aerssen is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Manager of Private Equity - Financial Institutions at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, since August 2008. Their tenure at FMO includes roles as Senior Investment Officer for Syndications and Financial Institutions, as well as Credit Analyst. Additionally, Cornelis holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Global Climate Partnership Fund since May 2016. Previously, Cornelis worked as an Advisor to the Director for the Netherlands at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development from February 2006 to July 2008 and was a member of the partnership at TelCom LLP. Cornelis began their career as a Business Analyst at A2000 Holding N.V. in Amsterdam. Cornelis earned a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Groningen and has a VWO from VCL in The Hague.
