Denver Tavira (MBA)

Denver Tavira, MBA, currently serves as an Investment Officer for Financial Institutions at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, since June 2023. Prior roles include National Project Officer for Enterprise Development at the International Labour Organization from August 2022 to May 2023 and Lead Interviewer and Contributing Writer at the Centre of Excellence for Financial Services for a brief period in mid-2022, where insights on operational risks during the pandemic were gathered. Denver held the position of Senior Expert in Access to Finance for SMEs at PROMAN in Luxembourg from September 2019 to May 2022 and was previously with Absa Group for nearly a decade, functioning in various capacities including VP for Public Sector Enterprise and Supplier Development and VP for Customer Value Management. Denver’s educational background includes an Executive MBA from Henley Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of South Africa.
