Emily Altman

Emily Altman has worked as a Human Resources Operations Coordinator at FM:Systems since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Human Resources Coordinator at Crossrope from July 2021 to March 2022, where they managed the HRIS backend system and implemented strategies for workplace safety. Emily also revamped the employee recognition program to enhance employee experience. Before that, Emily worked as a Preschool Teacher at KinderCare Education from December 2020 to June 2021, where they supervised and managed a class of 20 children, planned and implemented innovative lessons, and conducted assessments on children's development. Emily also has experience as a Resident Advisor at Virginia Tech from August 2019 to May 2020, where they communicated and collaborated with a team, created and coordinated programs, and utilized problem-solving skills. Prior to that, they worked as a Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty from May 2017 to August 2019.

Emily Altman completed their Advanced Studies Diploma at King George High School from 2012 to 2016. Emily then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services at Virginia Tech, graduating in 2020. In 2016, Emily briefly attended William & Mary, where they focused on International Relations and Affairs. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as "Foundation of Strategic HR" from 15Five in March 2022, "HR Guidelines Everyone Should Know" and "Human Resources Foundations" from LinkedIn in June 2021, and "Bachelor of Science in Human Development" from Virginia Tech in May 2020. Emily also holds a certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross, obtained in March 2021.
