Nicho started their career as a Software Engineer at Brisbane City Council, Queensland Health, Talent2, Queensland Electricity Commission, and QUT. Nicho has skills in Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and Agile Methodologies, with a strong emphasis on software development and test automation.
Nicho Cornish obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Drama from The University of Queensland from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, Nicho attended Anglican Church Grammar School from 1982 to 1985. In terms of additional certifications, Nicho obtained an Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification from RedAgile in March 2023, a Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid Australia in June 2022, a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in February 2022, and an Agile Foundations certification from LinkedIn in 2021.
