JP Van Steerteghem has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Certified Business Coach at FocalPoint since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Field CTO at Dell Technologies from 2019 to 2023, where they assisted customer executives in implementing technology strategies for their business objectives. JP also served as the Head of Application Engineering at Craft.co for a brief period in 2019.

However, JP's most notable achievements come from their long tenure at Cisco Systems, where they held various leadership positions. From 2009 to 2018, they were the Senior Director of Systems Engineers for WorldWide Data Center & Virtualization Sales, where they played a crucial role in enabling Cisco's entry into the X86 Server market and driving worldwide sales growth. Prior to that, they were the Director of Systems Engineers for Global Mobility and Web Service providers from 2007 to 2009. JP was responsible for creating strategies for emerging markets and leading pre-sales engineering operations. From 2002 to 2007, they served as the Senior Manager of Systems Engineering for Verizon Operation.

Lastly, from 1996 to 2002, JP served as the Director of Systems Engineers for Network Service Providers at Cisco Systems, where they executed the technical strategy for the company's sales to ISPs and CLECs and significantly grew their business. Overall, JP Van Steerteghem possesses extensive experience in driving technology strategies, leading sales teams, and transforming businesses across various industries.

JP Van Steerteghem has a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering (Electronics) from Hogeschool Antwerpen.
