Samir Benmendil

Samir Benmendil has extensive work experience in software engineering. Samir currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at FocalPoint, which they started in September 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at FocalPoint from October 2019 to August 2020.

Before joining FocalPoint, Samir worked as a Software Engineer at Ultrahaptics from October 2016 to October 2019. Samir also worked as a Software Engineer at CADSCAN LIMITED from July 2015 to October 2016.

Samir's career started as an intern at smARTlab - University of Liverpool from March 2014 to August 2014. Samir then became a Mathematical and Technical Software Developer Apprentice at Institut für Baumaschinen und Baubetrieb - RWTH Aachen from September 2009 to October 2012. In this role, they were responsible for developing applications, implementing algorithms, and managing computer resources.

Samir Benmendil completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Scientific Programming from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, from 2009 to 2012.
