Roel Suidgeest

Roel Suidgeest has extensive experience in supporting individuals with psychological and social vulnerabilities, currently serving as Directeur at Focus Zwolle since December 2009, where the organization aims to inspire and facilitate initiatives for those facing challenges such as psychosis, depression, and social isolation. Prior to this role, Roel Suidgeest was a Beleidsmedewerker at Focus, managing a range of topics including strategy and quality, and also served as a Ondersteuner GGz-cluster Wmo Zwolle, focusing on care and welfare policy. Additionally, Roel Suidgeest has worked as a support staff member for the Clients’ Council for Youth and Autism at Dimence and contributed to the Landelijk Platform GGz on a project aimed at enhancing societal participation for those with mental health challenges. Alongside these roles, Roel Suidgeest has pursued a passion for nature and landscape art as a visual artist since July 2000. Roel Suidgeest's educational background includes a Master's and Premaster in Zorgethiek en Beleid from the University of Humanistic Studies, among other qualifications in the field of art and education.
