Alison Shoub

Alison joined FocusMD in 2014 as the Director of Quality Consulting. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over 15 years with a strong commitment to improved patient care. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Mylan School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University. Over the years, she has used her clinical expertise to build relationships with healthcare providers, organizations, and patients to enrich patient quality and satisfaction, the health of various populations through disease state management while focusing on reducing healthcare cost. Alison is a Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert (PCMH-CCE) through NCQA. She is responsible for implementing quality care initiatives to enhance processes that facilitate individual and organizational growth. Alison promotes concepts needed to transform the healthcare system to one that value improvements in patient experience, population health and reducing overall cost of care.
