Esther Amptmeijer

Esther Amptmeijer has extensive experience in healthcare education and nursing, currently serving as Opleidingsfunctionaris at Fokus since May 2022. Previously, Amptmeijer held the same title at Zorggroep ENA from February 2017 to April 2022 and served as Praktijkopleider at Stichting Philadelphia Zorg between March 2010 and February 2017. In addition to these roles, Amptmeijer was a Gastdocent at Hogeschool Utrecht from 2007 to September 2011, providing guest lectures on chronic illness and palliative care. Early career experience includes positions as Revalidatie verpleegkundige at Militair Revalidatiecentrum Aardenburg in Doorn (2002-2010) and as Verpleegkundige at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek ziekenhuis in Amsterdam (2000-2002) and Mesos Medisch Centrum in Oudenrijn (1997-2000). Amptmeijer began their career as an Invalkracht at De Amerpoort from 1994 to 1997. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Health Care and Welfare from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (2007-2009), a certification in Rehabilitation Nursing from Alberda College (2003-2004), and earlier studies at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Neder Veluwe College.
