Carlijn Kingma

Carlijn Kingma is an experienced researcher, cartographer, and artist, currently working with Follow the Money since April 2021. Carlijn operates an independent practice, "Carlijn Kingma - Cartografie van Denkwerelden," since November 2016, and has previously held roles such as Artist in Residence at Rabobank (May 2021 - December 2021) and Atelier Van Lieshout (September 2017 - March 2018). Carlijn has also contributed to education as a teacher in MSc Architecture at Delft University of Technology from February 2018 to February 2021 and has engaged in cartography projects with De Correspondent from 2018 to 2020. Internships were completed at KAAN Architecten (March 2015 - August 2015) and ZUS [Zones Urbaines Sensibles] (October 2014 - February 2015). Carlijn was involved in designing a community center for the Pokot tribe in Kenya as part of the East Pokot Medical Project in 2012. Carlijn holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Bouwkunde from Delft University of Technology, with additional minors in International Entrepreneurship & Development and Rehabilitation Architecture.
