Annamaria Parola has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Annamaria started their career as a Senior Account Executive at D'Adda, Lorenzini, Vigorelli, BBDO from 2000 to 2002. Annamaria then worked as a Chef Assistant de Foyer at Arche, Le Printemps from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they were a Coordinator of the MiMS (Master in Health Management) at SDA Bocconi, S.D.A. where they contributed to the management of healthcare programs.
In 2006, Annamaria worked as a consultant at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, where they provided their expertise and support. Annamaria later joined a start-up company, P.R.O.F.I.L.O, as a Consultant from 2006 to 2007. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating start-up activities and developing communication and fundraising strategies.
Annamaria has had a significant role in the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, first as the Head of Institutional Relations and International Projects since 2008. In this position, they drafted the Foundation's strategic vision, conducted advocacy activities, and promoted scientific dissemination initiatives. Annamaria also designed and developed medical programs, both in Italy and in developing countries. Additionally, they served as the Coordinator of the Ethical and Scientific Committees from 2012 to 2018, ensuring ethical and scientific standards were met. Finally, they briefly held the role of Science for Peace Project Leader in 2008.
