Marcel Verhaar

Marcel Verhaar is an experienced festival manager and product owner with a diverse background in the arts and publishing industries. Currently serving as Festival Manager at VESTROCK since October 2009, Marcel also holds roles as Product Owner at Koninklijke Boom uitgevers and Booker at MPI Artists, both since November 2020 and February 2020, respectively. Ownership of multiple entities, including Gentlemen Recordings and Mass Market Recordings, showcases entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, Marcel has provided consultancy services since January 2013 and has contributed expertise as an Adviseur at Fonds Podiumkunsten since October 2014. Educational qualifications include NIMA C in Marketing, alongside degrees from Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
