Roger Renaud

Roger Renaud, CFA, ICD.D, serves as a Board Member at Fonds de solidarité FTQ since October 2018 and at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) from November 2019 to November 2024. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Renaud was the Global Chief Operating Officer at Manulife Asset Management from 2015 to 2018, overseeing a $450 billion investment management firm. Prior to this, Renaud held the position of President at Standard Life Investments from 2006 to 2015 and has served on various boards for Manulife and Standard Life globally from 1998 to July 2018. Renaud's career includes key positions at Standard Life Canada, First Marathon Ltd., Scotia McLeod, and Sun Life Financial. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Université Laval, a Program for Management Development from Harvard Business School, and numerous advanced certifications from prestigious institutions such as MIT, Cambridge, and Oxford.
