Jack Lewin

Jack Lewin began their work experience in 2015 as a Web Developer in a freelance capacity, working on various projects such as developing a crowdfunding donation system for a charity and creating a service to monitor the availability of Twitter usernames. In 2017, they joined Sky as a Software Developer, where they played a key role in delivering a new homescreen application for the NOW TV team and helped build a self-service monitoring system for the Sky Q/Go department. In 2018, they moved to Deliveroo as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led and contributed to technical projects, primarily working in JavaScript, Ruby, and Scala. Jack was involved in improving conversion for new users, achieving growth through SEO, and taking on additional responsibilities such as onboarding new hires, conducting candidate interviews, and hosting tech events. Recently, in 2021, Jack joined Fonoa as a Senior Software Engineer.

Jack Lewin completed their A-Levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Computing at Westcliff High School for Boys from 2007 to 2014. Jack then pursued a degree in Information Technology in Organisations from the University of Southampton from 2014 to 2017. In 2015, Jack attended the Summer School for Corporate Branding and Design at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). Additionally, in January 2020, they obtained a certification in Lightbend Scala Language Professional - Level 1 from Lightbend, Inc.
