Davíd Helgason

David Helgason is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a strong emphasis on combating climate change and enhancing sustainable practices across various sectors. Currently a Partner at Transition since March 2021, David collaborates with Seed and Series A founders to facilitate climate transitions. As the Principal at foobar.vc since 2012, David focuses on sustainability-related issues while actively engaging as an angel investor and board member. David's foundational work includes founding Unity Technologies in 2003, serving as CEO for nearly 12 years, and now as a board member. Additional roles include founding Nordic Makers, serving as a board member for companies such as Labster and Realm Inc, as well as early investments in QuizUp and Spiri. David co-founded World on a Hanger and iCover, contributing innovative solutions to the technology and apparel industries. David holds an education from the University of Copenhagen from 1997 to 2001.
