Katie Jones currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Executive Director of the Food Recovery Network, where responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to address food insecurity for 34 million individuals in the U.S. Previously, Katie held the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives at Independent Sector, focusing on driving systemic change through collaboration with senior leadership and managing special projects. Early career experience includes positions at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, Harris Interactive, and the American Heart Association, where Katie developed strategic plans, managed budgets, and coordinated research initiatives. Academically, Katie is pursuing the New Strategies Program at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from James Madison University.
