Thomas Madden

Thomas Madden is an experienced professional in food safety and quality management, currently serving as the Audit and Investigations Manager at the Food Safety Authority of Ireland since October 2021. Prior to this role, Thomas held several positions, including Supplier Assurance Manager at Ornua and Technical Manager at Tesco, where responsibilities included managing supplier development programs and overseeing private label suppliers. Thomas also served as an External Supplier Auditor at Dawn Farms, conducting audits in alignment with legislative and retailer requirements. Earlier in Thomas's career, roles included Internal Audit Manager and Quality Leader at Kerry Foods, as well as Assistant Quality Manager at Meade Potato Company. Thomas holds a BSc in Environmental Health, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management from Technological University Dublin, earned between 2005 and 2009.
