Peter Herz is the General Partner at 1st Course Capital, an early stage venture capital firm focused on food and agriculture innovation. Peter is also the Co-founder, CFO & Member of the Board of Directors at Food System 6, which fosters innovation in the food system for sustainability and equity. With previous experience in various leadership roles at companies such as IPextreme, Inc., irisnote, Inc., Entelos, 3ware, Inc., Infineon Technologies, and Synopsys, Peter has a strong background in business development, CEO positions, and directing consulting services. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University and A-level qualifications in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Eastbourne College.
