Clay Benjack

Clay Benjack is a marketing and communications professional with experience in the arts and entertainment sector. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore since May 2023, Clay also founded and manages Perfect Fifth Music Group, which focuses on developing and promoting local artists and music-related businesses. Previously, Clay held the position of Head of Marketing at Music in the Country, where responsibilities included booking artists, collaborating with local businesses, managing social media, and marketing through email. Additionally, Clay completed a virtual marketing internship with Yep Roc Music Group and gained early experience as an office intern at Chesapeake Drywall & Acoustics, Inc. and as a stagehand at IMGoing. Clay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from the College of Charleston, complemented by earlier education at Norfolk Academy.
