Mark Porter

Mark Porter is an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a career spanning over three decades in the food industry. Currently holding positions at Foodbuy UK & Ireland and Acquire Services - Modern Buying Solutions since 2011, Mark previously worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at The Consortium from 1988 to 2011. Prior to that, Mark served as an Authorised Meat Inspector at South Gloucestershire Council from 1982 to 1988. Mark's educational background includes a degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where Mark became a graduate member of the Institute of Meat and earned credentials in Meat Inspection.
