Javonne Alonzo is currently working as an Adjunct Faculty at Montclair State University in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies. Alongside this role, Javonne also serves as a Program Coordinator and Team Leader at FoodCorps, where they provide training and coaching to service members in building healthy school food environments. Previously, Javonne worked as an Undergraduate Food and Identity Recitation Instructor at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Javonne holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Howard University, a Master of Arts in Food Studies from New York University, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems from Arizona State University.
