Dylan McDonnell

Dylan McDonnell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dylan is currently the Founder and CEO of Foodini, a company that connects people with dietary needs to suitable restaurants and menu items through a user-friendly app. At Foodini, they focus on providing individuals with specific breakdowns of what they can and can't eat on each menu.

In addition to their role at Foodini, Dylan is a Limited Partner at Mendoza Ventures. Dylan joined the company in 2021.

Prior to their current positions, Dylan worked at Mercer as a Senior Associate from July 2021 to October 2021. During their time at Mercer, they also served as a Legal Counsel in the Institutional Wealth and Financial Advice division from December 2019 to October 2021. Dylan previously worked as a Legal Secondee at Mercer from January 2019 to September 2019.

Dylan's legal career began at Matheson, where they held various roles including Solicitor in the Asset Management and Investment Funds department from April 2018 to September 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Trainee Solicitor in different divisions such as Asset Management and Investment Funds, International Business Group, and Commercial Real Estate.

Before joining Matheson, Dylan gained legal internship experience at several firms including Orpen Franks, Brown, Kerdock & Lynch, Madigans Solicitors, and Downing Courtney & Larkin.

Dylan McDonnell completed their education with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin in the year 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from University College Cork between 2010 and 2013. Their early education took place at Intermediate School Kilorglin from 2005 to 2010. In 2020, Dylan also participated in the Founder Institute's Accelerator Programme, focusing on startups.
