Terumasa Taka worked as an Information Technology Officer at Norinchukin Bank from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Foodison Inc. as a Software Engineer. terumasa's roles and responsibilities included leading the engineering of the retail business division, system development and data analysis, organizing other programmers to deal with development tickets, and coordinating with users, including the head of the division. terumasa achieved success in planning, developing and maintaining systems for the retail business division by replacing the division's spreadsheets with the Ruby on Rails app, and further developments connecting it with slack, POS systems, redash (MySQL), etc.

Terumasa Taka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences from The University of Tokyo in 2017. terumasa then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Marine Sciences from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology in 2021. terumasa also obtained a Professional survey statistician certification from the Japanese association for promoting quality assurance in statistics in February 2021. In December 2020, they obtained an Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination certification from IPA: Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan. terumasa is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Science/Studies from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, which they expect to obtain in 2023. Additionally, they obtained an AWS solution architect associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021.
