Justin Siegel

Justin Siegel is a prominent academic and entrepreneur specializing in biochemistry and molecular medicine. Currently serving as a Co-Founder at VinZymes, Barnstorm Foundry, Prism Bio, New Syn Inc., Peak B Inc., and Digestiva Inc., Justin also holds an advisory role with FoodShot Global and co-founded SFS Advisors LLC. Since 2012, Justin has held the position of Associate Professor at the University of California, Davis, contributing to both the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Medicine and the Department of Chemistry, while also being affiliated with the UC Davis Genome Center. In addition, Justin has served as the Arthur and Carlyse Ciocca Visiting Professor in Entrepreneurship since December 2020. Justin received a Ph.D. in Biological Physics, Structure, and Design from the University of Washington and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis.
