Richard Sommerville

Richard Sommerville is a senior software engineer at Foodsteps. Richard previously worked as a software engineer at Kidsloop from August 2021 to August 2022. Before that, they worked as a security/systems engineer at Cloudflare from February 2018 to August 2021, where they helped design, build and maintain a variety of security-related products. Prior to that, they worked as an industry 100 secondment at the National Cyber Security Centre from October 2017 to March 2018. Richard also worked as a CERT investigations specialist at BT from June 2016 to June 2018 and as a CERT graduate at BT from June 2015 to June 2016. Richard's first job was as a junior application developer at Fivium from June 2013 to October 2014.

Richard Sommerville studied computer science at Loughborough University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree.
