Matt Tolnick

Matt Tolnick has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matt is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at FoodStory Brands, where they collaborate with licensors and manufacturers to bring food and beverage innovations to market.

Prior to their current role, Matt was the Founder/CEO of Deliciously Different LLC, where they launched SCRAMBLERS, a patent-pending, on-the-go, whole egg-based breakfast snack. Matt also acted as the Acting General Manager (Consulting) at Chew, consulting on the scale-up and launch of their first in-house brand.

Matt's experience also includes working as the Director of Business Transformation and IMO at Greenlane Holdings, Inc., where they were responsible for creating an M&A framework. Matt founded Lawless Jerky, a gourmet jerky brand, and served as its CEO.

In addition, Matt worked as an Independent Contractor (Attorney) for LexisNexis, creating content for Lexis Practice Advisor, and as a Litigation Attorney at Manning and Kass, handling premises liability and personal injury defense cases.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as In-House Counsel at Kauffman Sports Management Group, where they served as a primary or secondary agent for NBA clients and became an NBA salary cap expert. Matt also worked as a Business Analyst at Campbell Soup Company, supporting the RFID Initiative and conducting market analysis.

Matt Tolnick attended Duke University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Economics. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law from 2005 to 2008, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
