Carmen Herbert

Carmen Herbert has a diverse work experience in the field of demand planning and forecasting. Carmen currently holds the position of Lead Demand Planning Analyst at Foodstuffs North Island Limited. Prior to that, they were a Demand Optimisation Specialist at the same company. Carmen also worked as a Technical Services Coordinator at Bridon Cookes, where they were responsible for scheduling inspections and maintaining the inspection management system.

Before joining Foodstuffs and Bridon Cookes, Carmen worked at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as a Demand Fulfillment Leader, where they maintained the forecasting system and measured forecast accuracy. Carmen also had a role at Volkswagen South Africa as a Forecasting & Volume Planning Specialist and a Sales and Marketing Project Manager. In this role, they were involved in automating forecasting processes and worked closely with the IT project manager and KPMG team. Carmen also served as a Process and Systems Supervisor and a Volume Planner at Volkswagen, where they handled long and short-range planning.

In the early stages of their career, Carmen worked as a Specialized Administrator at Goodyear South Africa. Here, they supported the sales director by compiling strategic projects and sales support packs.

Carmen Herbert began their education at Clarendon High School for Girls in 1994 and completed their studies there in 1998. Following this, they attended UPE from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Bcom Marketing Management.
