Luke Hardy has over 17 years of experience in football coaching and education, currently serving as the FAI Course Assistant Leader for BA Sport Coaching and Business Management at IT Carlow and Education Development Manager with the Football Association of Ireland since June 2006. Hardy is responsible for implementing education strategies within the League of Ireland and Women’s National League, as well as delivering Player Development and Coach Education modules. Previous roles include Assistant Manager for the Colleges & Universities National Team with Student Sport Ireland and Development Officer for Laois and Offaly. Hardy's football career includes experience as a semi-professional footballer with Carmarthen Town FC, Athlone Town FC, and Longford Town FC, along with an apprenticeship at Peterborough United Football Club. Hardy holds multiple coaching qualifications, including UEFA A and B licenses, and an MA in Sports Development and Coaching from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
