Joe Watfa

Joe Watfa possesses extensive experience in leadership roles within the non-profit sector, particularly in people's culture and operations, partnerships, and policy. Currently serving as the Director of People, Culture and Operations at Football Beyond Borders since January 2016, Joe has previously held key positions such as Head of Partnerships & Policy and Head of Delivery. Prior experience includes serving as a Development Officer at JUSTICE, focusing on fundraising, customer relations, research, and event management from September 2014 to December 2015. Joe also contributed as a Research Fellow at Lund University's Center for Middle Eastern Studies from January 2013 to April 2014. Academically, Joe holds a Master's Degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Lund University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and History from SOAS University of London.
