Rachel Owen

Rachel Owen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project delivery and facility enhancement within the sports sector. Currently serving on the Project Delivery Team at the Football Foundation since November 2022, Rachel strategically oversees facility developments in the North, assists organizations with funding applications, and manages project design and grant assessments. Previously, Rachel worked with Lancashire Football Association from February 2020 to November 2022, leading facility enhancement projects and managing partnership growth while supporting grant funding programs. Additional roles at NES Fircroft and Slaters, along with a background in sports development at Wigan Youth Zone, reflect a diverse skill set and commitment to community engagement. Rachel's educational credentials include a degree in Inclusive Leadership from Solent University, enhancing qualifications in leadership within sports and community initiatives.
