Machteld Groeneveld joined Forbion as Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer in June 2020

At Forbion, Machteld is responsible for Legal and Compliance. Prior to joining Forbion, Machteld held various legal and strategy roles with multinational and stock-listed companies. Her responsibilities including European legal affairs, Fund compliance and Corporate Strategy. She has specialized in value creation from transformational growth; through M&A, strategic partnerships and new business development. Machteld has some 20 years of working experience in her field. She holds an LLM from the University of Utrecht (NL), a postgraduate degree in International Contracting from Grotius Academy, Nijmegen (NL) and an Executive MBA from RSM Erasmus University (NL).
