Jacob Brooks

Jacob Brooks has a diverse work experience in the field of design and user experience. Jacob has recently worked as an AVP, User Experience Design at Forbright Bank. Prior to that, they had various roles such as Freelance Graphic and Web Designer at Jacob Brooks Design, UX Manager at Rocket Communications, Inc., UX Architect/Manager at CapTech Ventures, Inc., and UX Manager at Brighthouse Financial. Jacob has also worked as a Lead Front-End Developer and Interactive Web Designer at MetLife, a Web & Graphic Designer at Gita Sporting Goods Ltd., a Senior Graphic Designer at Enventys, and a Web & Graphic Design Intern at Elevate Lifestyle Magazine. Additionally, they have freelance design experience with New Restaurant Logic.

Jacob Brooks attended the University of North Carolina Asheville from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts & Sciences and a minor in Mass Communications. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, they earned a certificate in Digital Media Arts from the School of Communication Arts. In addition to their formal education, Jacob also holds certifications in UX Management from the Nielsen Norman Group, obtained in October 2017, and a Certificate of Membership from The Interaction Design Foundation, obtained in October 2016.
