Kari Nurmela

Kari Nurmela is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in application architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Development Engineer at Forcepoint since 2016, Kari has previously worked as an Application Architect at Intel Corporation and McAfee, and held the same title at Stonesoft, a McAfee Group Company, for over a decade. Kari began a career in technology as a Researcher at Helsinki University of Technology from 1993 to 2000. Educationally, Kari obtained a PhD in Computer Science from Helsinki University of Technology, where studies were completed from 1989 to 1995.
