Meseret Kifle Ansebo

Meseret Kifle Ansebo serves as the Global Director of People and Culture at Ford Foundation since July 2023. Previously, Meseret held the position of Chief People Officer at Innovations for Poverty Action from August 2021 to August 2023, and served as Vice President of Human Resources at CMMB - Healthier Lives Worldwide from June 2017 to August 2021. A notable role as Global Human Resources Director at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative from September 2015 to June 2017 involved contributing to the mission of developing effective HIV vaccines. Meseret's extensive experience also includes various HR leadership roles at Save the Children US between August 2002 and September 2015, overseeing human resources strategies for multiple regions including the Africa region. Earlier experience includes positions at ActionAid as an HR Officer and Sponsorship Programs Officer from February 1994 to 2002. Meseret holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Empire State University and a BSc in Business Administration from American Century University.
