Alex Horovitz

Alex Horovitz currently serves as Chief of Factory Software, Data & Intelligence at Ford Motor Company, focusing on software-defined manufacturing and end-to-end ownership of Ford's NorthStar vision. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Manufacturing Systems & Infrastructure at Apple, leading software engineering teams for various product lines, and managing the mobile SDK team at Intel Corporation to create immersive experiences in AR/VR for sports. As a founder of Cloud Watch Inc., Alex developed machine learning software to detect insider threats, while a Senior Director at Symantec, substantial improvements were made to the CustomerONE program. Additional roles include engineering leadership positions with the NFL, Cerner Corporation, and greenfence, as well as founding AppOrchard, achieving significant revenue growth. Alex holds a Master's degree in Philosophy and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from San Francisco State University.
