Ian Rogers

Ian Rogers has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Ian is currently working as the VP Engineering at Forefront RF since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cambridge Mechatronics Ltd from 2020 to 2022, where they held the position of Operations Director and was responsible for operational business leadership and overseeing quality, resources, and site management. Ian played a key role in the company's rapid growth and scale-up. From 2015 to 2019, Ian worked at Cambridge Mechatronics Ltd as the Programmes Director and Electronics Director. In these roles, they were responsible for electronics and firmware development activities, defining electronics strategy, and managing technical teams. Ian also contributed to the company's preparation for scale-up and growth. Ian also has work experience as a Manager of R&D at Brüel & Kjær (VTS) Ltd in 2014 and served in various roles at BlackBerry, including Senior Commodity Manager for Cameras, Optical Sensors & Illumination and Manager of Camera Development from 2010 to 2014. Ian has also worked at Vertu as a Materials Project Manager in 2009 and at Nokia as a Senior Camera Project Manager from 2003 to 2008, and as an Acoustics and Audio Project Manager from 1998 to 2002.

Ian Rogers has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton. Ian also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Acoustics from London South Bank University. In terms of additional certifications, Ian is a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council. Ian is also a Member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIoA) and a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (MIET) with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
