Soraya Beumer

Soraya Beumer is an experienced leader in the justice sector, currently serving as Directeur - Bestuurder at Forensisch centrum Teylingereind since February 2018. Prior to this role, Soraya held various positions at Reclassering Nederland from October 2008 to February 2018, including Regiodirecteur and Regiomanager. Soraya's career also includes significant experience within the Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen at the Ministry of Security and Justice from July 2002 to September 2008, where roles included Waarnemend hoofd afdeling Uitvoeringsbeleid Gevangeniswezen, Assistent programma manager, and Locatiedirecteur at Penititentiaire Inrichting Rijnmond, Locatie "De Schie." Soraya Beumer earned a Master of Laws degree in Dutch Law with a specialization in Criminal Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, completing studies between 1983 and 1989.
